Despite the cold weather and the unusual time of waking up for the day, Yusay Credit and Finance Corporation (YCFC) employees joined forces with the Felix G. Yusay (FGY) Foundation in preserving the environment through mangrove planting on March 18, 2017 which took place at the Punta Taytay Coastal Area, Bacolod City.
The partnership between the two organizations for the event aims to make a difference in humanity’s habit of slowly damaging our environment. The small sacrifice of rising very early in the morning in the hopes of saving our surroundings was worth-it, as it turned out to be a memorable fun-filled experience for the employees and it strengthened the camaraderie between them. The mangrove planting event was proof that despite our differences we can act as team and do our duty for the improvement of our community.
