The FGY Foundation Inc. donated 8 sets of chessboard to Ayungon Elementary School, Valladolid last January 27, 2017. Playing chess at an early age helps in improving concentration and academic performance of a child, which is why the FGYFI chose this as a means of providing educational assistance.
Last February 10, 2017, YCFC and FGYFI President Mr. John Felix A. Yusay, lead in the facilitation of 107 potential donors, during the Bloodletting activity, held in Gaisano City. It might be a simple act of charity but it can increase the chance in saving a life of the beneficiary. Yusay Credit and Finance Corporation continuously support the foundation, envision a better opportunity to help and make significance in the lives of the people.
Academic year 2016-2017 FGYFI developed a School Learning Resource Center in Lag-asan Elementary School in Brgy. Lag-asan, Bago City. The foundation provided books and other learning materials and also brought sets of school supplies to identified indigent school children. The FGY foundation aimed to establish an Educational Programs that will help students to have access to a better education. Indeed, it was proposed to grant a scholarship program later on, for those deserving children of employees from the Yusay Group of Companies.
